Took the Viper to visit some fellow missiles at White Sands Missile Range

In 10 months I’ve put over 9,000 miles on my Viper GTS, and that’s enough for me. Nice guy from Dallas sent me a deposit and is flying out next week to drive her home. Selling for $500 more than I paid so if you don’t count gas, insurance, and tires, I’m only out about $750 from the tax I paid on it last June. Basically, lease a 14 year old viper for $75-100 a month? Can’t complain about that!

Though...If you count tires, add an extra $2,000 haha!!!

I have a pretty good idea for what’s next, but options are still open. Also might be getting sent overseas shortly, so might just wait until I get home to pull the trigger on something new.

1st Gen Ford Raptor. You’ll probably go up in the gas mileage department

Haha, I have looked at those honestly and they are up there, but too pricy for me, especially since in not a truck guy at all. I'm really just more of a unique car kinda guy, which is why of all the trucks I like the raptor

It's looks are what I'll miss the most. Everything else, not so much.

Even factoring the tires, that’s not much for that many miles of fun :)

Yep, and the fulfillment of a childhood dream.

The tires we’re changed more frequently than I anticipated because of this (somehow it pierced my tire):

Are you thinking about an F-type or R8 because if so that would put in lock step for vehicles starting with our elises. Those are my short list.

I'm thinking a lot about an F type and an R8 but they are still out of my price range for now. The Viper was a sub $40k car. The next car is probably going to be something older; got my wife a Cayman S so I have the fun car covered. Thinking bmw 2002 or Volvo 1800es.
